Drivers are responsible for correct processing of paperwork and payments. Drivers dispatch between midnight and 8:00 am. Some layovers are possible during the week.

Experience driveres are preferred. Heavy lifting ability required.

Qualifications

Knowledge

Ability

Position Description
Harris Ranch Beef Company - a family-owned, functionally integrated leader in premium, high quality beef - is searching for a passionate, highly motivated candidate to join their production team in the capacity of Processed Meats Production Manager. The Processed Meats Manager will be instrumental to the construction and subsequent commissioning of a state-of-the-art RTE facility. The individual will oversee production of an extensive portfolio of high quality, branded processed meat and poultry products. The successful candidate will demonstrate comprehension of and experience with:

Products – injected/smoked/cured whole muscle beef, pork and poultry roasts for deli and slicing; seasoned cook-in-the-bag products and emulsified proteins

Injection – brine preparation, yield & uptake calculation, etc.

Massaging/Marinating/Seasoning – familiar with equipment and processes unique to each product

Stuffing/Packing – demonstrate comprehension of stuffing effects on slicing yields

Cooking/Smoking – manage an efficient 24/7 cooking schedule with experience of wet/dry bulb cooking and natural smoke processes with understanding of equipment and Thermal Processing Authority

Chilling – exhibit knowledge of impact of chilling on quality and slicing yields

Packing – experience with the intricacies of RTE processes

The Manager will interface with key partners, Harris Ranch executives, QA, marketing, R&D, maintenance and sanitation to manage a department that consistently achieves expected product performance and production standards. The Manager will contribute to the maintenance of respective HACCP/SSOP/BRC programs. You will be responsible for enhancement of KPIs, setting goals and delegating responsibility to appropriate personnel.


Technical Skills and Qualifications
A BS/MS degree in Animal Science, Meat Science or Food Technology other related field preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years experience in processed meats production with at least two (2) years in a management role.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of process improvements and technical developments.

Ability to author and document innovative production programs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Position Description
The position of Stacker involves handling and stacking boxes of filled orders of meat product. Must be able to multi task and work alone. Will scan product into system as well as assign boxes to orders. Will wrap pallets and bins with shrink wrap. Load pallets onto trailers for delivery to wholesale/retail stores.


Position Requirements
Qualified candidates must be able to lift and carry (approximately 67 pounds). Boxes can average from 18 to 110 pounds. Lower (this is performed approximately 600 to 1200 times per day), push, pull, and continual use of both hands/arms at waist level and sometimes at or slightly above shoulder height. The employee must read labels on the boxes coming down the conveyor line, which indicated the type of product and meat grade.

This position is Sunday through Friday. Night shift start time varies (30 hours guaranteed).

Sunday 3pm - ?, Monday to Friday start time varies.

Job Responsibility & Summary

Eviscerate, and trim carcasses of slaughtered animals.

Job Summary
The main focus of this role will be to curate the Harris Ranch Inn & Restaurant’s online presence through the use of digital media tools and visual communication skills. The incumbent will be expected to employ search marketing tactics to increase visibility and engagement with content, products, or services in Internet-enabled devices or interfaces. Reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.


Essential Functions
Daily management of digital media plan execution – coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to gather and interpret information to facilitate planned campaign initiatives.

Focus on ensuring that the property’s branded website provides functionality that optimizes consumer usage and maximizes the commercial return for the property. Work with external agency to craft and plan monthly eBlasts to targeted audiences.

Responsible for information gathering for press release development pertaining to launches, activities, holidays, food & beverage functions, lodging.

Handling and reporting media calls to DOSM and/or General Manager.

Coordinate and assemble media lists, editorial calendars and event listings.

Assist DOSM and/or General Manager to ensure all marketing and media tactics are implemented on a timely basis.

Manage image library and image needs to vendors, managers, staff members as necessary.

Ideal Qualifications

Position Description
This is a new position being created to manage and oversee the company’s regulatory compliance efforts related to requirements imposed by agencies such as the Air Pollution Control District, California Air Resource Board, EPA and the adherence to Federal, State and County permitting and reporting requirements for AST’s, UST’s SPCC, RMP, HMBP, etc.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess knowledge in diagnostic, hydraulic, electrical and diesel mechanics skills. Truck and trailer knowledge.


Knowledge
Fundamentals of automotive and diesel truck technology. Current repair methods, tools, diagnostic equipment and parts used in minor and major repair of vehicles and equipment.

Operating and repair characteristics of the entire range of Company-owned vehicles and equipment. Training and communication techniques. Industry repair standards in the automotive and equipment fields.


Ability
Perform diagnostic and mechanical work on the entire range of Company-owned vehicles and equipment.

Perform mechanical work including the troubleshooting of equipment for both major and minor repairs. Performs routine computer data entry on daily work performed, and uses computer to retrieve records regarding previous repairs.

Work productively in the absence of supervision. Accurately determine mechanical repair needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.


Physical Characteristics
Must be able to lift heavy objects, perform manual labor and be in sufficiently good health to perform job tasks.


Education
High School or equivalent education required. Good written and oral communication skills.


Salary
$12.00 - $21.00 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities & Duties
Day to day functions of the Human Resource department and assisting with employee relations regarding company policy and benefit administration.

Ensures compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations in regards to human resource and employee relations.

Insure records are maintained and prepared according to established company guidelines.

Maintain Human Resource and Safety Information System records.

Maintain and administer employee disciplinary and corrective actions.

Investigate and process employee complaints.

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

Plan, organize and administer the recruitment and interview process.

Plan and conduct new employee orientation and annual retraining.

Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues.

Support managers in the administration of corporate HR policies.

Ensure strong open communication channels exist between employers and management.

Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

Administers benefit and leave programs.

Administer employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews.


Education
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; and/or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training. Agriculture experience a plus.


Skills
Language Skills:
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English and Spanish languages. Must be able to effectively write reports and business correspondence.  Must be able to effectively communicate and present information to large groups.

Computer Skills:

Position Summary/Description
Exercise Riders must have experience working with and starting young horses.

Knowledge of general handling of horses is required.

Riding, lunging, driving and other ground work.

Rider will be asked to work with up to twelve horses daily. The present daily average is ten horses.

This is not a training position unless specified at hiring.
